Harmonic Frequencies (Volume 1) brings together a beautiful array of talent into a 10 track compilation. Many different frequencies working in harmony.

Paris-based Serious A (Ilio Records) opens up the comp with ‘Majima’s Heart’ a dream-like tribute to the Yakuza game series.

LA-based polymath Damar Davis (Salon Recordings) strides in with the supremely produced, swaying vocal workout ‘Ode’.

Noted selector and party-starter Mr Redley (Black Wine Club/Rinse FM) brings his trademark energy with ‘Kinny Reach’.

LDLDN (Natural Frequency, NTS Radio) takes the reflective, emotional route with the skipping, string-heavy ‘General Principle’.

Newcomer MAATH (On the One) explodes into being with ‘Upside Down In The Blue’ a robust, chugging house bop that swings and swells.

Respected DJ and synth-wrangler Kenny Blacksmith delivers a chunky, bumping slice of techno with ‘Monday’s Fish’.

Alphonse - an alias of the legendary Toby Tobias (Hypercolour) - delivers ‘Whale Turn’, a wild, bubbling ride that switches half way through and frazzles your mind.

LDLDN steps back into the fray with ‘True Acid Raver’, a fizzing 909-drum machine driven thank you to all the hardcore ravers who keep the scene alive.

Galaxy Brain (Soho Radio) delivers ‘Champagne Acid’, a slice of dream acid with a deep house twist.

Finally, low frequency obsessive Void Complet (Chobu) comes with a typically abstract, bass heavy production in ‘Raw Shit’.
